Service Dog Leaps With Joy When He Sees Owner For The First Time In 8 Months

Mary lives with cystic fibrosis. It is a genetic disorder that affects mostly the lungs, making it difficult to breathe at times and making the person more susceptible to frequent lung infections. However, the condition also affects many other organs, such as the liver, kidneys, intestines, and pancreas.

Mary and her sister were both born with the condition. Her sister has undergone a successful lung transplant to battle her condition.

But Mary has a mobility service dog named Ollie to help her get around on bad days. However, he had been away living with friends for the previous eight months at the time the video was taken. He’s a huge part of her life, and without him, there is a huge part of her missing.

She and her husband have had an incredible journey together, going all the way back to their childhood, but when Ollie entered their lives, there was a change. Mary had another companion to help her through her condition.

On the day that she and her pup were to be reunited, Mary wasn’t feeling very well in the morning, but her excitement motivated her to get ready for the big moment.

At the airport, she can hardly contain herself. It’s been too long since this missing piece of her has been away. With her husband away at school, she really needs her service dog.

The moments she sees him trotting through the airport, she simply can’t hold back her tears anymore. What a beautiful moment! You can see the moment that Ollie recognizes that it’s really Mary, too.

Please SHARE this sweet reunion with your family and friends on Facebook.
