Need Help: Gorgeous shepherd returned to shelter 1 year after adoption

Gorgeous shepherd returned to shelter 1 year after adoption

A gorgeous German shepherd, adopted from the Carson Animal Services facility in 2015, was returned to the same shelter facility a year later. The dog, named “Glenda,” was adopted as a pup when she was just six months of age. Earlier this week, the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page explained,

In June 2015 she was 6 months old and had a beautiful life ahead of her is the right family would come along and adopt her… It’s September 2016 and she barely resembles that sweet, innocent baby and we almost thought it was a much older dog. She still has the most loving heart and she deserves another chance. Please SHARE for her life, she is VERY special and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save her.

The people who originally adopted this lovely shepherd told the facility that she was no longer able to stay with them because they were unable to “afford” her care. They also indicated that she had been living as an outdoor dog.

Glenda needs to be taken in by a reputable rescue agency, or adopted to a German shepherd savvy home where she will be provided with the care, and training, that she needs. Please help Glenda find a home or rescuer by taking a moment to network her adoption information.
