UNBELIEVABLE: Shelter Staff Preparing To EUTHANIZE Dog Tomorrow Because “He Has a Cold and No One Wants Him”

When you walk by Webb’s kennel at the high kill Carson animal shelter, the first thing that draws you to him is his calm demeanor, and look of love in his eyes. A cold, which is completely treatable, has robbed him of energy and so he lays very patiently on a concrete slab, as patrons walk by him. When you or I have a cold, we don’t think that could effect our lives in any bit but for Webb, the situation is critical. Patrons are turned off by unenergetic dogs, and so his cold has greatly damaged his chances of getting adopted.

Worse, an anonymous source at Carson told me that Webb is scheduled to be put down tomorrow because “he has a cold, and no one wants him,” which is sad indeed. A Petharbor listing for Webb reads,

“I am described as a male, black Mastiff and Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years and 7 months old. I have been at the shelter since Sep 28, 2016.”

If Webb isn’t rescued by Friday, October 14, he is scheduled to be placed in the back and euthanized. Here is how you can help. If you or someone you know is interested in giving Webb the forever home he rightfully deserves, please contact Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566 and reference the shelter ID #A4997476.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter so we are closer to finding him the forever family he rightfully deserves. We have done it before and can certainly do it again.
