Last week, the reality T.V. show Pit Bulls and Parolees highlighted a dog by the name of Creature, who was routinely passed up for adoption for the dumbest of all reasons. Tia Marie Torres, who runs the Villalobos Rescue Center, wanted to find out why and was shocked once she started getting feedback from her staff. Patrons to the shelter passed up Creature because they thought he was “too ugly,” and that was just too heartbreaking for Torres to even fathom let alone endure.
When you first come across Creature in this short episode clip, you realize just how charming, and lovely he is to whoever he meets. He is an adorable pup, who just wants a family to call his own. Instead he is judged and mistreated, all because of the way he looks. Torres becomes more motivated then ever to find Creature a home as a result, and her hard work pays off as the video below details:
