Stephen Matthew Taylor

A Henrico County man was charged with animal cruelty and bestiality after police executed a search warrant earlier this month at his Lakeside home.

Stephen Matthew Taylor, 30, of the 2900 block of Kenwood Avenue, was not the target of the search warrant, Henrico police said. Authorities came to the home in search of another man who was wanted in Pennsylvania and was arrested earlier this month.

Police could not immediately say what charges this man faced in Pennsylvania.

During the course of their investigation, police discovered evidence to charge Taylor with the crimes against nature.

No further information was available Friday.
