A young little puppy who was scheduled to be euthanized because he wouldn’t play was rescued by Sidewalk Specials when they got an urgent call that help was needed. The organization went to immediately scoop up the pup, named Simba, the same day he was scheduled to be put down.
Simba, it turns out, had tick fever, which robbed him of any kind of energy he had to put forth, something the shelter he was staying in didn’t know. In fact, when he got to Sidewalk Specials facility, doctors there gave him a 50/50 chance of survival because his disease was that progressive. Thankfully, Simba did in fact survive and is thriving today, thanks to the help, love, care, and devotion of Sidewalk Specials. In fact, the dog that nobody wanted and was about to be put down is now the beneficiary of a new forever family. Have a look at his harrowing rescue in the video below:
