For two years, a senor dog named “Ethel,” has been wasting away in boarding at a veterinarian’s office in New Jersey. Ethel, who is now 10-years of age, was abandoned at a mall before being picked up and taken to the veterinarian’s office – in all the time that has passed, nobody has stepped up to offer her a real home.
A few days ago, Ethel’s advocate went to social media to share a few words on the senior dog’s behalf:
The people behind Ethel don’t know what else to do but to continue to board her as she wastes away alone . Ethel is fully vetted – she is great with some dogs – she would love a home with adults or older kids – we have no history on how she is with cats so we will be safe and say no cats.
I am hoping we can all share and network this girl and change her life. What we are looking for is a forever home – she is a small pittie mix about 35 lbs – Please help share Ethel and lets all keep her in our prayers in hopes she will find an amazing angel to step up for her and help her get out of a cage and enjoy the holidays in a loving home
Ethel requires a meet and greet for families who currently have a dog – current location – Maplewood, NJ.
If you can help Ethel please email firstname.lastname@example.org
